Cloughjordan is about half way between Nenagh and Roscrea, Co. Tipperary.

Lying at the centre of a triangle formed by Birr, Nenagh and Roscrea, 
it is about six miles from the N7 (Limerick - Dublin) road at Monegall.

The town is served by the Limerick - Dublin rail line with four services daily.
