Sketching your pet
Animals of all kinds make wonderful models for quick sketching or detailed drawing and paintings. Drawing a pet is a great way to practice and improve your drawing skills. Artist Lian Callaghan will give tips on how to create a portrait of your furry friend. Bring a photo of your pet and a large sketch pad. Other materials will be supplied.

Making paper

You don’t have to take your paper to the recycling centre: you can recycle it yourself. Artist Barbara Jennings will show how to turn unwanted paper and other materials into a brand new sheet of paper full of promise. Participants should bring a selection of waste paper and 6 pieces of hardboard 30cm x 40cm. Other materials will be provided.
