Welcome to the Cloughjordan Festival website.
The festival celebrates bringing
together old, new and different ways of expressing ourselves through
sport, music, drama, film, fine art and just plain fun.
The ideas and
energy of the old and new communities in Cloughjordan have come
together to demonstrate that the traditional, the modern, the local
and the international can meld together into a fantastic,
family-friendly festival on the last week-end of July 2007.

 As you can see our
final programme features workshops, performances, exhibitions and
film that will culminate in the Cloughjordan picnic, where the entire
community will come together with our friends and visitors to relax,
be entertained and spend time with friends old and new.
And we are
very excited that we will finish this year’s festival with the
locally-filmed interpretation of Yeats’ plays, ‘Some Other
Place’, starring Patrick Bergin, Caitríona ní Mhurchú
and Tony Rohr and directed by Paula Frazier-Bergin.
